Re-create This Winter Wonderland Reception On A Budget
By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
I posted this photo on Facebook recently and quite a few people were questioning the budget it takes to pull off the amazing look of this Winter Wonderland Wedding reception. I did my best and found most of the items you see in the photo at prices that I think are affordable.
Since Orchids are expensive...even fake ones are $6 - $8 a stem, I added the link to some very affordable white roses instead and also to a unique flower that says WINTER!
I hope this helps many of you recreate a similar look for your Winter Wonderland Wedding.

DIY - Hurricane Glass Vase Fall Centerpiece for Only $3.00
By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
The first photo shows two vases you can find here at William-Sonoma.com starting at $58.00 dollars while the ones below, which is almost identical, were made in 15 minutes for only $3.00.

It's true. These hurricane vases cost only $3.00 to make using items from Dollar Tree and you can find the instructions here on how to make them for yourself at www.320SycamoreBlog.com! I love projects like this one because the result is an expensive look for less.
These centerpieces would look so beautiful at a Fall wedding and I would surround them with even more candles for dramatic, "wow" effect.

LED Ice Cubes is used in these Centerpieces By Preston! Bailey!
By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
Do you see the lights in the amazing centerpieces above that were created by the genius Preston Bailey! Well, after taking a closer look at the photo, I realized that they are the LED Ice Cubes that I've seen here on Save-on-Crafts on numerous occasions. They are waterproof but don't freeze them if you want to use them in drinks. They have a gel that works to keep liquids cool and it doesn't take much to turn them on! Once they are turned on, they can last up to 12 hours or more.

I've never thought of using LED Ice Cubes in my centerpieces but I have to admit, that now that I've seen how beautiful they can look...I am thinking about how I can incorporate them in my reception decor.

They start at around $1.59 each and you can get them in a variety of colors including red, pink, green, blue, pink, white, amber and purple!
