You don't want a wedding veil but you want to add something to you hair? Well brides of 2009 have been using flower clips to do just that, it was a hot wedding trend last year. You can buy them with your favorite flower, in your wedding color and it won't cost you more than $20.00. As a matter of fact, you can buy them for as little as $3.00 for you, your flower girl or your bridesmaids.

Celebrity Inspired Earrings under $7.00

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
Individual | Leighton Meester

As I watched the Red Carpet Show for the 2009 Emmy's last night, I found myself paying very close attention to the jewelry that the ladies were wearing. Not all wore necklaces the women were adorned with beautiful earrings that cost well into the thousands. Since I am all about helping budget brides look as fabulous as the celebrities but doing it for less of course, I was so pleased to find that Forever21.com had some very similar looks for under $7.00. There were many to choose from that any bride would be proud to pair with her wedding gown but I choose the 20 that were my favorite. You can see the complete list online HERE or at a Forever21 store near you.

Wedding Day Makeup Tips

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd

The most important thing to remember about your wedding-day makeup is that it shouldn’t outshine you. Like your hairstyle and your photographs, makeup’s purpose is to make your face look like you—only better. If you’re set on trying something brand-new for your ceremony, such as bright red lipstick when you’ve never glossed before, don’t wait until the Big Day. Start trying out shades weeks before, and see how they look with your dress, your flowers, and your hair color. Should you be hiring a makeup artist for the ceremony, tell her the look you want, listen to her ideas, and get started: Do not be talked into any “look” that makes you uncomfortable. Just as new shoes or a completely different wardrobe for a job interview makes you feel off-balance, a makeup style that doesn’t suit you will affect your self-confidence as you walk down the aisle.

Defined Eyebrows like Kim Kardashian

Well-structured brows really set the stage for a gorgeous face. Kim’s chocolate arches perfectly offset her espresso hair. Keep in mind that when bringing out your brow shape, you want to go one shade lighter than the hair.

Eyebrow Pencil with Brush Pencil - $10.00

Wallet not as deep as Kim Kardashian’s? Try Sephora’s eyebrow pencil with brush pencil at an eyebrow-raising price, $10.

Jewel Net Flower Headband - $5.80

Satin Floral Burst Headband - $3.80

Chiffon Flower Headband - $4.80

Pendant Satin Bow Headband - $7.80

Faux Pearl Trim Headband - $2.80

Pamela Satin Bow Headband - $4.80

* Please not that all these headbands are cream so may be better suited for ivory or off white wedding gowns.
