I haven't been looking at wedding invitations much but when a bride asked me about Veneer Invitations about a week ago, I did a search and found the most beautiful set made by another bride who calls herself Mrs. Irish P. on Wedding Bee. She refused to spend $2000 on similar invites and the ones she made herself as you see are amazing! They matched her Peacock Wedding Theme perfectly. Of course, you can design them to match any wedding theme using the instructions Mrs. P here on Wedding Bee along with the materials she used.

The cost per set was $1.50 and it included a response card made out of veneer wood, as well as a purple card with directions! A peacock feather with beads and a gold ribbon held them all together quite nicely!

For the October Wed Hunt that was held in October, Victoria Joanne of Custom Wedding Garters donated a gorgeous Satin Garter that she was kind enough to personalize for the winner, Megan Beardsley! I loved the Invitations I had picked out from Etsy.com but my dear husband was having a hard time accepting the price. I've been planning on going the DIY route until this past Saurday when our dear Mickie Wyatt message me with the link to the Peacock Invitation you see above on 123Print.com with the note "Thought of you when I saw these..."  and I am so grateful because they cost only $36.95 for $100!

I ordered a free sample of it, as well as two others that peaked my interest and I am praying that they look just as good or even better in person.  I may actually prefer these to my previous choice, but I will definitely add a teal (blue) ribbon to them and tie it on the center of the peacock feather image, just to dress them up a bit.
