Are Chair Covers a waist of money?

I've had many brides complained to me that when they do find a venue that is perfect for their budget the chairs at the venue are such a horrible color or they are just metal, folding chairs. There was one bride who got to use her church's dining hall for free but her only problem was the chairs. She struggled with the dilemma of renting new chairs to "spice the place up a bit," but at a cost of $300 per chair, plus the work or removing the old ones...she thought the whole process was just too much to deal trouble. So she decided that renting some chair covers for about $1.50 would solve all her problems with that room and she marveled at how much the covers transformed her venue.

I know there is the argument that once the guests are seated no one will see those chair covers. That's a great point but it what it boils down to is what the couple want their guests to see and feel when they walk into that reception room. Most brides I know want the guests to be wowed by the beauty of the room. Personally, I find that chair covers makes a room look that much more elegant, especially if the ones that come with the venue doesn't match the theme, or they are those metal folding chairs which could look horrid in an elegant environment.

A Spooky but Elegant Halloween Theme

I saw this theme here on theperfectpalette.blogspot.com and loved it immediately. I know there are at least two brides at Bronze Budget Bride who are planning a wedding for Halloween 2010 and this is great inspiration for you. What I love most about it are the cute but oh so charming little details like the B.O.O. in the apothecary jars and that little black type-writter that guests could use as a guest book alternative.
