DIY - Dark Blue Iris Centerpiece
By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
I found this floral arrangement on Proflowers.com and the total price for this bouquet is $29.99 plus $6.99 for the vase, which then equals to $36.98! As a budget bride, if you want this exact look for your wedding, you can create it yourself for much less. From the information I found, there is suppose to be 20 heads of Irises in the arrangement, but you can always use less to save a little moola. Teh vase you can buy for just $1.00 and the Irises are $1.39 each. Click on the prices below, for each item, to be linked to the site where you can purchase them.

How to choose the perfect ceremony and reception spots for your special day!
By Carlise (Carla) ShepperdWhen it comes to to choosing the perfect wedding ceremony and reception locations for your special day, there is a lot to consider. As a bridal consultant, people often ask me if I know of the “perfect spot” for their nuptials.
That fact is that I know of several “perfect spots”, but they may not be the right fit for your wedding! Many brides are shocked these days, when I explain that nearly one third of their wedding budget will be spent on the reception, and that amount will usually only include food, rental fees, and beverages. Also, if they choose to host an open bar, that figure will increase.
So, how do planners choose the right locations for their clients?
For the bride who wants short, cute and cheap. Check these out for under $23.00!

Funny - Now I Have You Cake Topper- $15.00
By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
I love this cake topper, it's too funny and perfect for the bride who had to fight for a wedding day. I have an uncle who has been engaged for almost all his adult life to the same woman who he now shares 3 children with. He is very committed to his fiance, who is such a sweetheart, but he is so against a wedding day, he keeps saying it's not necessary. Well, when they do get married, which may be soon since he is softening to the idea, this would be a cake topper I'd suggest his fiancee gets. All the guests who know them would truly understand why she chose it. (hehe)
