Fab Budget Invitations
By Sandra HI am having a peacock themes wedding and doing most everything myself to stay within my very low 5,000 budget and I couldn't find affordable invitations anywhere. Check out the woman's shop where I found them:

Here is a direct link to the invites I am getting:

I hope this helps someone else!
Flower Girl Dresses for as little as $8.99!
By Carla Carlise

Since Easter Sunday is less than 8 weeks away, you can already find adorable dresses like those I've shown today from stores such as Sears, Kmart, Kohl's, Walmart and pretty much any wear that sell children's clothing.

All these dresses I found online at Sears.com. They are all under $28.00, half of what the average flower girl dress would cost you.

You can find more of these oh so adorable, cheap gowns here online but be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more as you head out to go shopping at the mall or your local department store.

DIY - Cute Layered Petal Ring for your Votive Holders
By Carla Carlise
This do-it-yourself project is coming to you from Michaels.com. There is no way I could have seen this and not share it with all of you. You can find the petals and votives for this project at Michael's but be sure to check your local dollar store as well. Online, you can buy silk petals in so many colors here at Efavormart.com and they'll cost you $5.99 for 500 but you get a discount if you buy them in bulk.
Materials you'll need:
- Precious Petals, one box
- Votive Candle in glass, one
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue Sticks
Cost of each project will vary depending on materials used.
Instructions:
1. Using a glue gun, on the bottom of petal, glue four sheer petals around base of votive.
2. Then, glue the second layer of four solid petals by staggering them between row one.
3. Add additional rows continuing to stagger petals, alternating between sheer and solid.
DIY - Replicate this Platinum Wedding, Yellow Rose Centerpiece for less than $20.00!
By Carla Carlise
It's been a while since I've posted an actual Platinum Wedding centerpiece that you can recreate as a Bronze Budge Bride for under $20.00. and this one is perfect since yesterday we learned how to make a flower ball using an oasis. This centerpiece is from the $500,000 wedding of Anisha's and Kennard and it is simply a yellow rose ball sitting on a black glass vase.
What you'll need to replicate this piece.
You can buy 100 yellow roses online here costco.com for $89.99. That's a great price for fresh flowers but if you want to take a cheaper route and keep this centerpiece under $20 you can buy 84 silk roses for $14.99 or 84 velvet roses for $16.99 on Efavormart.com!

For the fresh roses, you will need a floral foam ball that you can get in a set of two for $9.36 at save-on-crafts.com! You can choose whatever size you'd like but I recommend using at least an 6 inch ball for a fuller rose ball.

For the artificial roses a styrofoam ball is used instead which you can also find fairly cheaply here at createforless.com, the 6 inch ball is $5.89.

Now follow the instruction here for making a flower ball using an oasis.
On to the black vase!
You have even more options when it comes to choosing a vase to use for this floral arrangement. However, to keep the look as close to the original and to keep it affordable, black Eiffel Tower Vases are perfect. They start at just $2.99, the 12" vase is $3.99 and the 16" vase is only $4.99.

Don't forget to get a floral foam holder for each centerpiece. It goes inside the vase and serves the purpose of keeping the flower ball in place. It's not expensive either only $1.99 and it is the last piece of you'll need to complete this platinum look for less.

If you want a more extravagant, black vase then take a look at the reversible, glass vases below. They stand at 15, 19 and 23 inches tall and the tallest will cost you $29.95 but they are so beautiful, I think they're worth it.
Seeking this Designer Dress or a similar Look for Less than $500!
By Carla Carlise
I love this San Patrick: Eresma design but I would settle for a similar look for less since it is way over my $5oo wedding dress budget. Unfortunately I've been unsuccessful finding anything similar within my budget thus far.
I will keep looking and I will find a dress I love I'm sure, but if any of you have seen something similar for less than $500 I would appreciate it if you would let me know.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Carla Carlise

Honeymoon Moola
By Carla L
Many couples are feeling the financial pinch right down to their pocketbooks when planning their wedding, which leaves them with literally with no money for left for booking the honeymoon. This is the time for couples to collaborate regarding what items you already have in each home. Start by using this free wedding template for merging couples items together for their Wedding Gift Registry Checklist. After couples have gone through their gift registry, discuss what is important to each other when it comes to what couples want as far as gifts. Does the wedding couple want gifts or do they want a lifetime full of awesome memories by using websites to contribute to a couple’s wedding honeymoon fund? Most wedding couples are now saying they want money to contribute to their honeymoon fund.
Here are some great websites for couples to suggest to wedding guest for honeymoon contribution:
• My Registry
• Honeymoon Fund
• Honeymoon Wishes
After registering on one of the aforementioned websites, couples need to discuss the wedding information for wedding guests. Please do not put honeymoon contributions on your wedding invitations because it is just downright tacky. Instead, use wedding verbiage, such as, "Wedding Guests, please visit our wedding website for detailed wedding information”. This is the place where couples should include things such as wedding party information, photo galleries, wedding events, accommodations, attractions, rsvp, wedding music, honeymoon funds, wedding vendors, wedding videos, wedding guestbook, contact information, and wedding registries.
Upon the return from the wonderful honeymoon, then couples can review their free wedding gift registry checklist and review the list. If there is money left over, this is the time where couples can go on that shopping spree for the items on the list to purchase for their home.
