ANOTHER SCAM TO WATCH OUT FOR
Hey guys. Every morning, right as I am still in bed, I read
the news and the "Dear Abby" column. This morning, there
happened to be a letter about a bride who took her dress to the
cleaners to get it preserved and boxed up or whatever. Well anyway,
she wound up opening the box years later and came to realize that
the gown was never in the box. There was another instance where the
bride had inspected the dress after it was dry cleaned and before
it was boxed and saw that there was tons of stains on it. The dry
cleaner representative told her that it was from alcohol served at
the wedding and that it shows up after it's dry cleaned and the
bride said that her wedding didn't even serve alcohol. Finally,
there was another instance where the bride (who was supposedly a
t.v. personality) had a show and the topic for that day was
weddings. Anyway, the bride took the boxed gown to the show to show
the audience and when she opened it, she saw that only the veil was
in the box.
So ladies, please be cautious and check before you leave the cleaners or else, you may wind up to be a very disappointed wife. :(
