I've had many brides complained to me that when they do find a venue that is perfect for their budget the chairs at the venue are such a horrible color or they are just metal, folding chairs. There was one bride who got to use her church's dining hall for free but her only problem was the chairs. She struggled with the dilemma of renting new chairs to "spice the place up a bit," but at a cost of $3.00 per chair, plus the work or removing the old ones...she thought the whole process was just too much trouble. So she decided that renting some chair covers for about $1.50 would solve all her problems with the room and was surprised at how much the covers transformed the space.

I know there is the argument that once the guests are seated no one will see those chair covers and that's a great point but what it boils down to is what the couple want their guests to see and feel when they walk into that reception room. Most brides I know want the guests to be wowed by the beauty of the room upon entering it and personally, I find that chair covers makes a room look that much more elegant, especially if the ones that come with the venue doesn't match the wedding colors or theme at all. Some even have those metal folding chairs which could look horrid if you're going for something refine.

You can find chair covers for under $2.00 HERE that you can resell after your wedding or you can rent some for about $1.25 per piece from an event supply store in your area.

Remember, at the end of the day, it's your party, so you do what you to do.
