A box of 12 donuts is only $2.98 at most of our local gorcery stores. So, you can have a donut tree (wedding cake) with 120 donuts for just $29.80! Even if you rent a stand or choose to buy one instead, you'll have a wedding cake that's delicious, sweet and the best part, cheap!

I love the donut tree cake! What a cool idea! If I wasn't completely in love with the cupcakes I've already ordered (the best cupcakes in the whole wide world) I would definitely consider this!

I know what you mean. It's a toss for me too between the cupcakes and donut but since a lot of my family would be coming from all over the world it seems, I think I would do a combo. Cupcakes one layer and donuts the next then make the cake at the top with fondant. The vision in my head is fabulous and I am sure it'll be a crowd pleasure. It will still in under $100 though which is the best part for me.
