Gorgeous flowers, what are they called?

My bouquet.jpg

I had this bouquet of flowers saved on my computer for my original plum wedding theme. I was about to delete it when I realized that it can work for my current theme, so at least I get to add something from my original plans. The thing is...I recognize the blue roses, but what is that other flower?

I've Google "blue flowers with purple" and variations of those words and nothing. I also checked out some popular flower sites like fiftyflowers.com, wholeblossoms.com, theflowerexchange.com, BloomsByTheBox.com but didn't find them.

If you know what this flower is please be so kind and let me know. Thank you so much!

Those are orchids. I don't know what species or type or anything, but those are definitely orchids! ;) Since they're a bit pricey (they are difficult to grow, the little divas!) you can get silk ones that look just as good. :]

I thought they might be Orchids, but when I searched for Orchids online non of these popped up. Someone told me it's not a natural color though, that they are dyed, so now I know why I couldn't find them! I was willing to spend only about $20 on flowers for my bouquet but I might just do a mix with blue roses and add some peacock feathers tie it into my theme as I planned on doing to begin with.

30 of these for $11 (enough for bouquet AND a little touch on centerpieces)

Or these darker ones for $2.59-$2.89 each

You should keep your eyes out at the craft stores and see if they have any (possibly going on sale soon due to their darker coloring!)

Thank you so much Jettie but my plum purple theme was my original one and I had to change it to blue and green we now have a Caribbean theme. It's more like a Hollywood meets the Caribbean since I am using Peacock feathers to make it more elegant rather than beachy. That is why I love that bouquet because it had the blue, green and hint of the purple I wanted. Therefore perfectly beautiful.

Thank you so much for your suggestions though, I really appreciate that you took the time to help me. That was really sweet and thoughtful of you! You're a gem!

It also looks like it could be (or you could use) hydrangeas to get this look. I know Save-on-Crafts has dried and silk, and you could also try www.AFloral.com. Michael's has great sales on their silk stems periodically, too, at 50% off - just check your local paper.
