BRONZE BUDGET BRIDE

On Friday on my way to the park with the kids, I decided to stop by one of my neighbors house to visit for a few minutes since we hadn't been over to by them for a few weeks. As we headed to the back of their home, since they rarely use the front door, we noticed a few tables with priced items on them. They were having a yard sale the next day and I had no idea.

Well, as we chatted I browsed the items and noticed some vases stacked on a table in the back that were being sold for just $0.25. I counted 10 of them and told her immediately that I was taking them all off her hands, along with a set of brand new crystal votives, she sold to me for just $1.00.  So I walked away from my casual visit with 10 vases and crystal votives, how awesome is that! I was so excited especially since three of them were 16 inches tall and among them was a beautiful blue vase, like the one above.

I was too busy to get photos of my lot before putting them away since I had to share dinner, undress the kids, etc. but I will definitely upload a pic as soon as I can so that you can see my new stash. So I would definitely encourage all of you to hit a few yards sales this Summer to see if you can walk away with some vases too, or items you can use for your big day.

Craigslist is a great place to find out where the hot yard sales will be in your  area. You can even see a list of items they will be selling o you can email them ahead of time to inquire about particular items you may be hoping to find. That way you would save yourself a lot of time and frustration. For me though, I am so glad I decided to stop by my neighbor that day because now I can officially cross table centerpeices off my list, yeah! :D
