A Unique To Add Some Color To Your Vase!

I know there are many Bronze Budget Brides who are using clear glass vases from the dollar stores for their centerpieces and I think that these vase wraps are a uniquely wonderful way to dress them up a bit! They are sold for four dollars and they come in Ivory, White, Hot Pink, Celery, Purple and Lavender. I know it may not be the cheapest way to dress your vases but it certainly is a different way to give them some color.

DIY - Chic Cheap Wine Glass Centerpieces

This photo was posted by bronze budget bride Mickie and my first thought was that this centerpiece could be created with items from most Dollar Stores for under $8. You can see for yourself on DollarTree.com where you can buy Wine, Margarita and Martina glasses for $1.00 each. Candles are here for $1.00 each or per pack and you can buy the faux flowers as well for $1.00 per stem. So since each stem would have at least 3 flowers, yes, just around $8 to recreate a similar centerpiece.
I've added a few more below that I found online and it's easy to see that some with river rocks and luster gems, all of which you can find a Dollar Stores, you can have a beautiful, candle-light table centerpiece for under $10.00!

DIY - Tissue Paper Carnations

I love, love this table setting. I found this photo online at fiftyflowers.com in Jamie Gray's testimonial! What I love about it is that fact that the favor boxes are used as part of the decor and it gave the room such beautiful pops of pink everywhere, (the pink and royal blue colors are gorgeous together!)
You can find many standard carnations in so many colors HERE , just look at how vibrant the colors are but you can make artificial carnations which is actually what is on the favor boxes in the photo above.
Just look how gorgeous paper carnations can be when you are all done.
To make your own you will need:
- Tissue paper
- Scissors
- 2 large paper clips
- Pipe cleaners (chenille stems) or floral wire
- Coloured marker pen
- Optional: floral wire, floral tape, wire cutters

DIY - Princess Pumpkin Centerpiece

I saw this this morning here on WicksnCandlesticks LLC Fan Page. Isn't it cute and it's perfect for any bride planning a Princess or Fairytale Wedding, especially in the Fall months when you can get pumpkins everywhere.
These are the items you'll need need:
• Short, wide pumpkin
• Sharp knife
• Spoon or ice cream scoop
• Pencil
• Tracing paper
• Scissors
• Cardboard
• Utility knife
• Newspapers
• Gold spray paint
• Gold dimensional glitter paint
• Gold braid
• Thinck white crafts glue

DIY - Crystal Trees for under $30.00!

This photo is from Charity and Frank $1.4 Million Dollar Wedding.
The centerpieces are crystal trees made with Manzanita trees and hanging Swarovski crystals! What that translates to is that they paid a pretty penny for each of those centerpieces but you can create an almost identical crystal tree for under $30 maybe even less!
I was in the process of posting an article on how to create an affordable crystal tree when I came across this article on Project Wedding. I was most impressed with the fab idea of using crystal strands from a beaded crystal curtain which brings each strand/garland to less than $1 each. That in itself is amazing since it is so hard to find a crystal garland anywhere for under $7.00. So now every small budget bride can afford to create these amazing crystal trees as centerpieces for their wedding or just about any event since they are so affordable to make them.
What you'll need:
Crystal Curtain
Manzanita Branches
Urn or Dark Vase
Spray Foams
Acrylic Diamonds
Crystal Curtain with 34 Stands - $22
Simply cut the strands from the curtain rail and cut them smaller if necessary to hang on the branches of the Manzanita I posted below.

Cute! Cheap! Spring Time Centerpieces!

These adorable little guys won't go with my colors/theme but I came across this picture and had to SHARE! The simplicity! The creativity! The next-to-nothing-cost! Imagine the possibilities! Well, I hope someone else is as excited about this idea as I am :) I'm actually thinking of using something similar as bar decorations, just for some added floral fun! :)

A Cute Way To Use Tulips As Favors...

I was so thrilled to come across this DIY project at Project Wedding that uses Tulips as wedding favors. They are so cute, guests would just love them. It is a very cost effective way to be green and give a beautiful gift as well.
On a recent trip to a Home Depot I noticed that they had potted Tulips on sale for just $2.00. There were at least five in each pot, so that would be less that 50¢ each.
You can find the article here with information on giving Tulips as favors using the paper bags you see in the photo above. What I love about this project is that you can also use the favors as centerpieces by grouping a few of them together in white Solo cups. I think they would make an adorable table display. You can even personalize the cups with permanent marker and add ribbon from a Walmart or Michaels near you. A nice touch would be to add personalized ribbon instead from a website like Efavormart and that way you'll be saving yourself half the work but get just as charming a result.
So take this idea and run with it... make it yours, find a way to make it suit you and your personality. I'm sure what you come up with will be brilliant.
