DIY - Floating Centerpieces - $6.27

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
The couple added to the elegant ambience by alternating centerpieces of floating candles and gerbera daisies, and pots covered in gold-plated foil filled with green ivy.
This is a very easy to put together centerpiece for all the budget brides. All you need is a candle bowl with water, add a flower or flowers of your choice and viola. You can find many faux flowers for this type of centerpiece HERE on save-on-crafts.com. Below are the yellow, faux, floating Daisies with water droplets added for effect.

Orchid Centerpiece - Under $10.00

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd

This is a simple yet elegant table setting that anyone can pull off for under $10.00. For this centerpiece I chose the Real Touch Orchids that looks and feel natural although they are indeed artificial. You can submerge the Orchids in water and add a floating candle if desired.

I would suggest for a round table that you use at least 4 of the hurricane candle holders with candles around the Orchid arrangement. You can even put three vases together and use 6 or more candle holders with the candles or a more dramatic effect. Just click on the prices to find all the items you'll need.

I love this centerpiece for so many reasons and would be perfect for a modern wedding. I saw a similar centerpiece done for a wedding with a Heaven on Earth theme. The colors were just simply white on white with tons of candles but it was gorgeous.

You can use these as ceremony decor as well as table centerpieces if you choose. Just click on the prices below to find the items for you to do it yourself.

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
Asian Theme Reception.jpg

At first glance this table decor may seem like something only a professional can create but with further observation you will see that this centerpiece is actually quite easy for anyone to replicate.

Here are the supplies you'll need:

SilverWood Manzanita Natural Branch 18" - 24" tall - $8.75

34 Strands of Diamonds Crystal Beaded 9' Long - $51.99

Instead of using the stark branches and decorating them the crystal garlands, you can choose the natural branches I've listed below that comes already decorated with faux red berries. It is a more affordable option to recreating the look for less and won't subtract from the Asian theme.

Natural Branches with faux red berries -36 branches for $8.99

Simple but Beautiful Purple Theme

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
Purple paradise.jpg

What makes this room shine, literally, is the purple lighting against the walls. The table decor is simple, the table cloth is probably a bit more costly. However, it is obvious the couple opted to pay for lighting the room in the purple hue and the result is simple, yet elegant and quite beautiful!
