A Unique To Add Some Color To Your Vase!

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
vase wrap.jpg

I know there are many Bronze Budget Brides who are using clear glass vases from the dollar stores for their centerpieces and I think that these vase wraps are a uniquely wonderful way to dress them up a bit! They are sold for four dollars and they come in Ivory, White, Hot Pink, Celery, Purple and Lavender. I know it may not be the cheapest way to dress your vases but it certainly is a different way to give them some color.

Baby's Breath is usually used in floral arrangements as a filler but they are beautiful all on their own . The photos on this page display that beauty and you can make these arrangements yourself quite easily using flowers from FiftyFlowers.com, your local florist or find them growing wild this time of the year. Just look how stunning each centerpiece is and they are inexpensive too, so Baby's Breath definitely could be the perfect option for you!

An Affordable Way To Add Luster!

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd

A fantastic way to add a little fun twist to your centerpieces is to add luster gems that you can find at your local dollar store for a buck or even less. Just one bag added to a cylinder vase with water and a floating candle is enough to make a dazzling centerpiece. I personally love the clear gems since the sparkle like diamonds but you can also find them in green, blue, red, yellow and orange.

DIY Crystal Trees

By Lindsay S
I am in the process of creating my own crystal trees for my centerpieces.  I found the branches quite cheap; 12 of the 30" branches for $139 and that includes shipping!  I found them at www.bloomsandbranches.com.

Then I was looking for the crystal beads and found nothing but that they were expensive, expensive, expensive.  Since I have a big wedding (200 people), I need at least 12 tables of the high centerpieces.  I found a 50 yard spool of acrylic crystals for $49.99 at shopwildthings.com.

DIY - Purple Orchid Centerpiece

By Carlise (Carla) Shepperd
Submerged purple orchid centerpieces topped the guest tables, perfectly complementing the linens.
I love featuring centerpieces like this that I know that any small budget bride can recreate and for very little money. For this centerpiece the vases are varying heights with Orchids string together that float upwards. The Orchids are anchored by a few small stones at the bottom of the each vase. I've added the links to all the supplies you can use to recreate this piece for under $10.00. Just click on the prices as usual to be linked to each item .

One Stem Bicolor Dendrobium Orchid  - $1.79

I suggest using this real Orchids for the centerpiece s to ensure that the float properly since some have had trouble getting artificial flower to float!

White Floating Candles 1-3/4" Disc - 20 for $7.99
